Sassy 16 Throw

Today was a great day! It was sunny and warm, in the low 70's which is great for Ohio in November. It's suppose to be beautiful tomorrow also, but then go down hill from there. This quilt was quilt #2 that I did in April '08 and gave to my mom for her birthday. It is the Sassy 16 pattern and I used the great tutorial from Peg's 'Happy In Quilting' blog and added a peeper. The material for this quilt was Kansas Troubles.

So sorry, Lisa - today has been one of those days - I posted a comment and it didn't come out right - so let's start again!
Welcome to Blogland - you are doing wonderfully being fairly new to quilting, too. Your quilts are wonderful and it certainly gives everyone joy to see them on your blog!

Welcome to blogland Lisa - now the question will be "Do I blog, or do I sew"!! - both very addictive! I too have only been here since August and amd really loving it.

What you've achieved so far is amazing, I've only just finished my first quilt, soon to start my second (I hope). I really love the colours in your second one - very warm, country & yummy - look forward to seeing more!!
