Cotton Candy Finished

Cotton Candy ... that is what this quilt has been named. Here is a picture of it with the border on. I love how this quilt turned out and the colors are so pretty.
When I started quilting i said i would only have one quilt started at a time and i was very good about that until i started the quilts for my nephews. So, since my Cotton Blossom quilt was put aside and after the boys quilts i did the Cotton Candy quilt, tomorrow night i will pull out old cotton blossom and try to finish it this week/upcoming weekend. I've totally lost interest in doing it, so i'm hoping once i get her back out it will go smoothly. There's not much left to do, just put the rows together and put the borders on, but it is a braided pattern, so it's going to be a matter of lining up the braids ... do you really think it matters if the braids are lined up? I've seen it both ways.

Hope your week gets off to a good start and hopefully the weather here in Ohio cools down some. It was 95 today with a heat index of 101 ... needless to say, after church i stayed inside all day. Have a great Monday :o)

Beautiful, looks like candy...
One quilt at a time, that was only when I started my first project.

Cotton candy is a cutie. About the braids--I've seen them both ways as well. If you don't like it already, whatever gets it done and off your conscience is best.

Right on! What a happy quilt! Personally, when I lose interest and return I consider it a real boon just to get through it so I think your braided quilt will be fine no matter what you do. It's the finish line that'll make the quilt! :)

Awesome! Great job Lisa. You have so much restraint. I have about a dozen things going at once and a dozen UFO's.
