YIKES! It's been over a week and I haven't posted anything! Well, that's because I haven't done much! I did manage to get the 7 rows for Cotton Blossom sewn together and realized the top and bottom of the quilt now goes at an angle :O) so i need to trim all 4 sides and put the borders on. I was hoping to have it done last weekend and that didn't happen, so maybe tomorrow and thursday night when hubby is working i will get this quilt finished and out of my hair!
I've been wanting to REALLY scrub our bathroom, so last night was the night! The shower doors are VERY clean and i mopped the floor on my hands and knees. It just seems the floors don't get clean enough with a mop! And shower doors...oh i hate them! Give me a shower curtain any day!
Other than that, it has been extremely hot here and this week it is beginning to cool down. Call me crazy, but i think i'm ready for fall and some cooler nights to sit around the campfire.
Not sure what quilt i will work on next, but as soon as i figure it out i will definitely share...oh and when the cotton blossom is done, you will see that too for the LAST time.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

You have been busy enough for me, cleaning a shower takes alot of work....love the quilt..
Oh you're so cute! I hate it when quilting things happen but I do like it when they're flippin' done. Of course I should be honest and admit I often cave-in and QUIT. Just the truth. Not pretty but there you have it. Not you though. You Rock my Candle Lite Quilter friend!
Like how this is coming along...and so close to being finished! I'm with you on the looking forward to autumn - give me a cool night on the back deck with some hot apple cider any day....
Lisa I love your quilt ! When you've put the border on would you please come and clean my bathroom ?
How cool is that quilt! It looks lovely done in Cotton Blossom!
Love, love, love the quilt. As always, anxious to see it done. Wish I had the energy to clean my bath top to bottom. Shower doors look nice but we pitched ours years ago. Can you say...too much work. LOL Have a great day Lisa.
i'd take some off the top right and put it on the bottom right .. it'll be some work but you'll loose less of your quilt!
I love this quilt!!!
